This is my aircraft from the Weekend Madness group build. Finished in the 48hrs. I have gone back after 48hrs more for dry time and done a grey Flory Wash to weather it up a bit. All the pics of this plane I found looked very clean. 1st off is a before and after wash look.
There are a couple of splinter color schemes. I picked mine because I had the colors :-) I used white Mr Surfacer 1000 sa a primer and saved a step in painting. That's the only way i could have finished without staying up for 24 straight. The 2 grays are Tamiya rattle can decanted and mixed with some Mr Color Leveling Thinner. check out more pics and details of the engine paint work on pg7 of the GB Hope you enjoy
