Italeri 1/48 Scale V22 Osprey "What If"

Thanks for posting the photos of the dashboard. I still had a slight gap after fixing mine but it is much smaller than the original gap.

I started the kit and have a question for you Justin. Seems like the control panel is too big for the nose and leaves a huge gap on the nose when I dry fit the two halves of the body together. Did you experience this?

I don't think I did, although I don't have 100 percent recall on that...

Looking back at some photos from the start, it would appear as though I fitted the instrument panel so there was a bit of a "dashboard" behind the windscreen.... 

I will post a picture tomorrow, when I get to work, as from my tablet I cannot access the Imgur website....

I have the same kit released under the Testors label. Nicely represented model.

What a cool idea!  It looks great, and seeing an Osprey in those colours almost seems natural.

Like those before me, I have this kit as well and I almost chose it for a recent group build. Yours id definately a neat configuration. I like the nose art and the invasion stripes a lot too!

Nice!  I like the out of the box thinking.  Glad the figures came in handy.  I rarely ever use any.

Great stuff!  And a cool idea - imagine if we had the capabilties of the Osprey in WWII!  I have this kit.  Going on the bench early next year - how did it go together?

The kit DEFINTELY does not fall together like a Tamiya kit!  Think along the lines of the Revell 1/48 B17.....not terrible, but does require a bit of extra attention...

There is a nice video series on the build of this kit by an Asian  (I think Japanese, but I'm not 100% on that, and his build looks phenominal!  

Bottom line, this project was certainly a fun ne!
