1225th Escort Squadron - Family Christmas Project
Posted by oortiz10 on Sunday, December 27, 2020 4:06 PM

Hey FSM,

Here's a fun little project I built for Christmas. I used Hobby Boss' "Easy Assembly" kits and Prop Blur PE effects. Each Mustang represents a member of my family, with my dad, Rudolfo, leading the way in his "red nose Mustang". I tried to depict (with some artistic license) Mustang squadrons that used red and/or green as their squadron colors. Santa's sleigh is scratched with some some pylons acting as wings, rocket pods as engines, wheels hubs as intakes, and a Hellfire launcher as runners. Santa's a 1/72 pilot with the fur on his coat, his hat, beard and sack being made from Milliput. The bicylces are "lagniappes" generously provided by Prop Blur.

I know it's a little late for Christmas, but I hope you still enjoy the project.

Thanks for looking. I hope everyone has a safe and prosperous New Year!

-It's Omar, but they call me "O".
