An old build Platz FW 190 D9
Posted by Back to the bench on Monday, January 18, 2021 9:25 AM

Posting some work from several years ago hoping it will motivate me to get something new built. Life events including a cross country move put a dent in my already mediocre motivation and productivity at the bench. Now that I finally have a hobby room again it's time to quit making excuses.

This is the Platz kit and it is a dandy in my opinion. Photos don't lie and I see lots of things I should have caught and fixed, but it was a fun kit and my first in 1:144.

That is an amazing paint job on such a small scale. Great Job!

Thank you Mopar Madness

Thank you JBRaider, I have to give some credit to my Badger Renegade Velocity AB. It sprays really well and in fact I know it is capable of tighter lines than my skill level allowed on this build. My only complaint is that the dang nozzle piece is so tiny it is more difficult to clean now that I am officially "chronologically challenged".
