A-1J, Tamiya 1/48

Hi folks.

After 3 weeks, I finally ended this kit, a true record for me!

I only added prepainted photoetched seatbelts, and a few scratch detail in the cockpit and wheel wells.

I only added some details in the sidewalls down the side consoles, a friction knob of the throttle sticks in the left and a circuit breaker box in the right.

Some details in the left side of the armour plate behind the seat.

I added some wiring in the engine and piping and tubbing in the wheels wells.

I primed the cockpit with One Shot primer and airbrushed with mig and Revell acrylics. I used the kit decals for the front console.

I painted with Tamiya white and Vallejo light gull grey. The twelve 250 lbs bombs was painted with olive drab XF-62 and lightened with khaki drab XF-51, both from tamiya acrylics. The antiglare panel was painted in anthracit grey, from revell acrilics, number 36109.

The big exhausts stains were airbrushed with anthracite grey and raw sienna ink.

I hope you like it.

Regards,

Pablo
