Philo!

Okay, be honest with me! How in the heck did you get the
LEGO Deep Sea Explorer set and display in the background? I have been trying to get that set or the set and display for quite a time. What's the catch?

Oh, the plane looks interesting too. Why so big? and I do suppose you have the room or you wouldn't be building in that size. Back to the LEGO. I build M.O.C.s all the time. (My Own Creations), and many are subs of an exploratory nature. That's probably why that caught my eye. Sorry about that !

Hi; Another short observation.

I noticed the short Wing spars. With the weight those wings have It might be a good idea to extend that spar if you can, further into the wing to prevent Fuselage warp or Wing Root cracking!

Well I worked at TRU  as a bicycle mechanic/Assembler for over 20 years .I was buddies with the assistant manager so when I saw that they were going to put it in the trash compacter I asked if I could have it!I even have the adaptor for the  led lights!

Yes I wondered why the wing spars were so short...I used Model Master liquid cement to attach the wings...hopefully the joint will not fail!

I've got two if these in the stash and a conversion solid resin center wing to do a Zwilling. Really like the scheme you chose

Those underside wing roots look a bit challenging. I think I've got one of these in the stash but I've not even come close to starting it. I went to go check but it buried in the back of the stacks lol.

Nice work! That paint scheme looks cool. Good choice.
