Hi;

    I got the card out, After taking it to a Camera shop and letting them do it. Something's wrong with the Camera's internals and the shop said it's not that valuable to put any repairs into.

 So I will download the card and see what I have. Then go looking for a NEW Camera AGAIN!

Hi;

 I thought that is what those parts were for. I got mine to work off the plane, We'll see. You are right about the Gun Bay nose problem. Out of site surgery corrected all. Mostly toward the forward area of the Control flat, in the forward floor area. The Taper doesn't match the Fuselage!

 Now that said, Although I agree with you I don't plan to replace the canopy parts. These types of A/C get built mostly OOB, because I can indulge my "What -If" paint patterns up to and including making it look like a chrome ornament!

 If I could Afford another, I think I would be looking to make a 1/35 canopy from an upsized P-47 " Bubble-Top" "JUG" Or an early F-86 Sabre Jet! The Pilot's seat reminds me of a seat from an old De-Havilland Bi-Plane!

TB, be careful getting all the gun bay walls aligned and seated snugly.  If you get it right, the fuselage halves will just barely close.  The gun bay panels will need some tweaking and internal tabs to seat flush.

I am not a fan of the kit's pilot "bench" and want to fit something like a Dornier or Heinkel ejector seat - with push buttons for jettisoning the wings and upper fin of course!  I have a Quickboost German midget sub crewman in 1/35, so I was mulling the possibility of fitting him with seatbelts.

I also didn't think the curved windscreen was suitable for a bomber interceptor, as a flat armored glass panel would seem more appropriate.  But for the first kit I am building, it will be left alone.  The next one will get a Fw-190 type flat windscreen and revised canopy.

The mystery gears and toothed rings not mentioned in the instructions are to synchronize the wings' pitch, but the wing shaft glue points make a working system questionable.

Anyway, good luck on your kit, and hope both of us can join the 1/35 Triebflugel Club.

TB, most cameras, push in slightly on the card and it will pop loose and you can then remove.

Okay, Okay !

   So it's a "TreibFlugel." This is one weird plane. BUT, one beautiful kit for the serious builder of "What-If's". Now I do apologize beforehand. I was NOT able to upload my pictures. Don't know why. Camera would Not release the Card.

   Now there is this too. It's 1/35 scale. That makes it about a foot tall when assembled! The kit, although out of the Ukraine is going together like a group of LEGO parts. It tells you in drawings where stuff goes then you just get the glue and paint where it belongs.

   I did run into some weird situations with some parts. Like where in the heck do they go? They give you three teensy parts for the gunsight, be careful with these.They's tiny and easy to put together backwards! Also on the clear sprue is a part labeled 1. But I can't for the life of me find where it goes. It's a beautifully clear little dome!

   When installing the Cockpit be Careful! There is a little key up on the seat bulkhesd, One each side. It goes into a grooved area in the parts for the upper gun bays. The gun bay bulkheads create this along with a molded groove for another part.

     Now my thoughts on the P.E is that the instructions are fairly clear, BUT, be Careful with those too. The parts are very tiny and easy to lose to the universal Carpet monster. I didn't, so I am ahead of the game! Also when looking at the cockpit when the plane is finished is important here. Why? Well, remember the thing sits on it's tail. So gravity would cause the lap portion of the belts to fall onto the seatback!

   Lastly a comment on the Decals( Which are usually the Bane of my modeling). The biggest instrument is a whole 1/8 inch across. The rest are smaller and YES they are all individual on the Decal sheet. But laid out so you don't need an intrepeter to figure out where they go.

    Somehow, Someway My foray into paper has steadied my hands enough that even the smallest part on the model has not been a problem. If you Like " What-Ifs" then even with the leetle bit higher pricepoint it's a winner!

  As I build I will post again, on less general but more critical reactions to parts fit and finish. Right now everything is great.
