That's a good tip thanks lear. I'm usually a fan of instrument decals. Gives detail that's near impossible to replicate handpainting. Also like the armament set, I'll have to try to pick one of those up. Again, really well done

Rooster, Overall it went together pretty well. no real fit issues. of coarse there will be seams to fill, mainly the bottom of the wings, where the upper and lower fuselage fit together and of coarse the intakes. If you dont go with a photo etch instument panel, would highly recommend cutting up the instrument panel decal and applying it in sections. There is no way it will lay down if installed as one decal.

Very nice build! I just picked one of these up, how did it go together?

At the plate: 1/48 Airfix Bf109 & 1/35 Tamiya Famo
On deck: Who knows!
Very nice! I have one in the stash I'll get to some day, lol.
learmech64TheModeler: I would like to take all the credit for the instrument panel but actually that is the kit provided decal. Since the panel has multiple levels, very 3 dimensional, I had to slice the decal up onto 9 separate pieces and apply them.
Oh,OK.Well good job setting the decal then?LOL
Thanks,TheModeler(Novice Mode{Just for now})

Great job!All those missiles and the details inside the cockpit must've taken quite a bit of skill.I wanna be that good one day
Excellent, congratulations!

That's first rate work. Very attractive.
I haven't built a modern jet in over a decade. This fuels the need lol.

Nice job. This was the model I selected for my return to modeling 1 1/2 years ago or so. I struggled with the nose and intake assemblies. I'm sure it was my error and not the kit. This kit is a great value for anyone looking to build a modern jet. I like the additions you included. Again, nice work.
As in the subject title, this is the Revell 1/48 F/A-18E which I completed this past weekend. I added a resin seat. the decals are from Fightertown Decals, the armament is from Hasegawa Armament sets C and D. The GBU-12s are mounted on bomb racks from Reskit. I painted using primarily Tamiya acrylics and MRP paints. I used Flory washes for panel lines and oils paints for some weathering.
