Mike Grant decals and Quickboost seat and exhaust. I also replaced the styrene machine gun blast tubes with Albion Alloys micro tubing.
very very nice work. I love it.
Always a thrill to see those Kościuszko Squadron machines! Really neat history that many are completely unaware of.
Yours turned out beautifully!

Rob Hart Tojo72 Another nice job, those decals went down nice Actually, the only decals used were the squadron insignia. All the other markings were masked and painted. I have lousy luck with decals and avoid using them as much as possible.

No wonder the makings look great, good job
Same here Rob. I love that engine and really love that prop. Well done. What are you using for your rigging and how have you gone about setting it up?
Also, a huge fan of your grass scene. Two thumbs!

Thanks. I used .004 stiff stainless steel wire for the rigging. I bought it from the Small Shop years ago. It came in six foot tubes and is no longer available. However I recently found a new source; Ngineering out of Battle Ground, WA sells the same stuff in 10 packs of 12" lengths. The turnbuckles are 3 mm lengths of .4 mm brass tubing. You can cut your own tubing, but I buy mine pre-cut from Bob's Buckles. I anchor the ends of the rigging by running them through photo-etched eyelets (also from Bob's Buckles) that were glued into pre-drilled holes on the wings/fuselage/stabilizer, etc. surface. The grass scene is from a Model Scenics turf mat cut to match the size and shape of a plywood disc base. I did the laminated wood effect on the prop with colored pencils (see Youtube for some excellent tutorials).
