Hello all in the aircraft forum! I just completed Revell's 'vintage' F15c for the Desert Storm group build. I know that the Group build section doesnt seem to get too much foot traffic, so allow me to share this with you!
All out of box, with the exception of the ejection seat/pilot, which were a one piece replacement from PJ Miniatures, and the Markings, from Furball.

Mortal as I am,I know that I am born for a day. But when I follow at my pleasure the serried multitude of the stars in their circular course, my feet no longer touch the Earth...
Well done. Did you paint the pilots helmet? I really like pilots in planes. Wish more kits came with them. Where did you get the pilot/seat?
Thanks,
John
Nice reminds me of the first time I rolled my toolbox up to an F-15 and realized just how big it was.
Nice. What did you think of the Revell kit? I have the Hasegawa E that I might start soon.

The Pilot/Seat is from PJ Miniatures. I found it on Ebay, at a price I deemed 'acceptable'. lol!
I did paint the helmet. It was kinda boring in just plain glossy white. I used a toothpick and reaper miniatures paint.

It was a standard Revell kit...poor fit in places, REALLY poor fit in others! lol. overall, it wasnt terrible.
Looks great! Love the pilot figure- it adds so much.

Thanks, Don!
I do like to add a figure/figures to give a sense of scale, to add that human element.
