BUTZ
The intakes of the F-105 were gloss white. Over time they would turn an off white or slight light gray due to objects (bugs, birds, dirt, etc) being sucked down the intakes. On natural metal they would be un painted . On the aircraft painted silver, the intakes were chromate green.
