One of the guys at our local model club is building the ID 1/72 Galaxy and had it there last night. Without fail everyone who saw it for the first time was gobsmacked by the size of it. A 1/72 Spitfire can sit on its back and its wing tips wont reach the C5's wing roots!
It is a monster, you can keep the rest of your collection inside it!

The company that bought the molds was Dynavector Models I do believe and included some resin. However, I too am looking for this model, but can not find website or a vendor. Last price was killin' a $100 dollar bill.

If you can't find the 1/72 scale C-5. Entex did a 1/480, and Revell did a C-5 in 1/144. Both of these kits can be found on the auction sites from time to time.

The 1/72 C-5 was featured a few years back in FSM. It was a very large vacuformed kit out of England. Originally issued by ID Models. The molds were sold to another firm whose name escapes me. They made it for a short time but now I believe the kit is currently out of production. I just did a search on the Hannants website and I can't find it there. Hey Shaggy thanks for the 72scale link info. Sometime I think I'm the only one who still builds 72nd scale airplanes!!!
