Eaglecash867If it will be available by February
That can be a big "IF"! The word from two of my vendors is that they expect it by February. I have seen U.S. prices range from $100 to $166; so we might want to shop befor we buy!

If it will be available by February, that would be better than the predicted availability that I have seen, which is Q2 of 2022. I'm actually glad to see Revell doing the opposite of what a certain video card manufacturer did, where they get everybody excited about a release date...and don't have the inventory to back it up until almost a year later. If you're anxious enough though, I'm sure there are scalpers in the EU right now buying these things up so they can sell them to Americans at a "special price".

well, just take my money, gonna get this one, but wait for a sale.

Probably due to production, and making sure they have enough inventory to meet demand over here, as well as shipping uncertainties.
It seems that this kit won't be available in the US until February; however, it is currently available in Europe. What's with that? Why would Revell delay the release of this kit in the US until February?
Your comments and questions are always welcome.
Revell had sprue shots at the Dayton oh show And it looked GREAT! Gonna cost me money i know.
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
Yeah. I have two of the Testors kits also. But the Revell has just a bit more detail And I already have a Revell YF-12A..but it is from 1966. It is 1/72, must be just after they quit box scale.

jeaton01 At 80 Euros or about $90 US it's not inexpensive.

The Testors SR-71s are fetching close to that on eBay. Glad I got mine when they were far more reasonably priced.

Try Mega Hobby for Revell German (including their excellent paints) https://www.megahobby.com/brands/Revell-Germany.html
Thanks,
I found a store in Germany that will ship the model to my address. However, they charge 32 Euro to ship it.
Revell of Germany has a number of aircraft that are not available on the Revell US site. They also have Revell paints. Unfortunetly, Revell of Germany does not ship to the US.
I will definitely buy this kit. I only need to figure how to buy it.
The Blackbird will look really nice sitting next to this guy.
But to be fair, par for the course.
Coming from the guy who doesn't play golf.
“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”
One of the few kits remaining that I "must have". Hope it is better than the old Testors kit....will wait and see. If good reviews then it will be in my stash
we're modelers it's what we do
"Four out of five cows"? When did cows become the metric for model kit ratings? I'm not staying current with things it seems. It looks nice. Now sit back and wait for the "red line" squad to pick it apart.
I'm on the fence on this kit - I WANT it, but do I have space for it? Yes and no, respectively. But darn it, I have some Caracal decals for it.
Well, I did not see this one coming... Looks like a nice kit but I would probably never end up buying one. I would think there would be other subjects that would put more money in the bank for them.
