Unfortunately almost nothing can be seen of the interior, which took so many hours of work and patience to complete. Here it is one more time ;-),

What a striking and beautiful model.  I have a thing for float planes/flying boats and that one is a beauty.  Too bad you can't see that fantastic interior.  I love the crew sitting at the map table... and the map!  Did you paint the map or was that a decal?  I assume this is the Hasegawa kit.  How did it go together?  Really nice job.  I would love to have that one my shelf.

Thanks,

John

Incredible work. Too bad about the interior, but at least you know it's there. Well done.

Thank you kindly for your reply. Like you I do love flying boats and float planes. This is the Hasegawa kit, moulded with the new 2017 tool. The overall quality is great, but there are some issues and omisions. Fit was reasonable/good, but I had problems assembling the wings to the fuselage: the struts that had to be glued between the wing spars prevented the fit, so I deleted them. Another isue is the lack of a rigging plan. In fact rigging is totally ignored. Furthermore I would advise any builder to make their own buildig plan; the sequence in the instructions did not work for me most of the time. And yes: I made the map myself with colour pencils. All in all it was enjoyable build and I am happy with the outcome. Warm regards from the Netherlands, Jan
