Okay;
You plane guys will probably disagree.The Hobby Boss A-10 in 1/72 is for me anyway, A delicate little bird. My friend built her in hospital. Had to stop when he found out that spilled Tamiya liquid Glue removed the finish on the rolling bedside table!
I actually used the freezer method and got mostly good results except the engine pods! What method of assembly did they use? The tailpipes came out, but I cannot get the Front Engine fan/Nacelles off! Also was the center part one or two pieces? You know Top/Bottom?
He used brush on Acrylics and for a LEGO Castle builder he did an amazing job blending his camo colors! I want to restore it so the bad seams and stuff are gone and the Canopy( Two Piece) is clean and nice. Then the place he's living now said he could have it on his Dresser Top!
This little scudder is so delicate though. While cleaning the fuselage halves I inadvertantly broke one side of the forward fuselage off! The plastic at that spot was almost as thin as .020 sheet! It Glued back together alright, But for safety I created an inner patch for Both sides Of .020 sheet to strengthen it.
All the parts still fit in dry fitting. I have NEVER run across a model plane out of plastic that's NOT a biplane which had thes delicacy problems. Help!
