Revell SR-71 A Blackbird Kits 4967 & 5720

Which one am I building? Both of them; but I will end up only one complete Blackbird! I had purchased a European kit and managed to mess up both nacelles. Rather than complete the build compromised; I bought a second kit. One may wish to take the $85 and buy a couple more different models But, in my case, I am nearing the end of my modeling career and this is the last model that I intend to buy, so I want to try to get it right!
You may want to refer to JohnnyK's recently finished "1/48 Revell SR-71A Blackbird" for a thorough introduction of kit and his excellent build!
The packaging was basically the same in both kits.

Somebody has to fly this thing so I purchased a couple of astronauts. The uniforms are not accurate for the U.S. program!

The next shot is the same as the previous plus LED lights! This to show you that the color of the blackbird you are modeling will vary according to the lighting which it is under. I am sure that the color is also influenced by the photographer!
