Best part is many times I have no concrete plan and just figure out what I want and how to accomplish it!

I agree, a LOONNG time ago I scratched a Sci-Fi Battle Cruiser out of a mishmash of parts, I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever done. Somewhere along the journey I have forgotten to be creative and rely on engineers " create" cool stuff. I hope I someday take your advice and just glue stuff together to suit my fancy.... After all it is a hobbySmile

Very cool Philo.

My brother used to make all kinds of sci-fi stuff out of odds and ends when he was a kid but they were not as cool as yours. Only thing was if something didn't look like he wanted it to, it ended up hitting  the wall and then the floor in pieces.
