This kit turned out to be a very nice build. Decided to go with a diorama after watching numerous episodes of Black Sheep Squadron on H&I. Artistic license prevails here and I did my best to nake it as realistic as possible. Scratch made hydraulic lines and brake lines. Airbrushed in Tamiya acrylics and Model Master Metalizers. AK Panel liner and ground up pastels used for streaking and engine leaks (if it's not leaking then there is something wrong). Chipping done with silver artist pencil. Tamiya 1:48 scale military barrels and sacks used. Woodlands Scenic lettering burnished onto drums.
Love the look you made it out to be. Great job.
Excellent work on an icon of aviation. These Tamiya kits are simply amazing to work with. Well done all around.

Hello!
I think you nailed the aircraft - congratualtions! - but the palm trees need work if you want to photograph them close up...
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Thanks Pawel! Yes, I agree on palm trees. I'll see what I can do with those.
A Pixelmator Pro rendering of Boyinton's F4U Corsair I built, at a remote airstrip in the Pacific. Had fun making this one!
