Definitely a decent kit with plenty of detail.  Only drawback are the canopies as they are extremely fragile and will split with the slightest amount of pressure applied to them.  With this model, I decided to go with wings folded, scratch building the wing actuator with hydraulic lines. Created a carrier deck display with mirror to see the torpedo bay.  Airbrushed with Model Master Metalizers, Mission Models Sea Blue and Intermediate Blue, and a mix of Tamiya Flat White & Light Grey to achieve the insignia grey look.   Carrier decking done with strips of basswood lightly stained with artist acrylics.  Not heavily weathered as I wanted this to look like it had just arrived from the factory.  Artistic license prevails on this display.

Nice job.  I have the accurate miniatures 1/48 kit in the stash and I've built a couple before going all the way back to the monogram kit that you could fold the wings up and play with it.  BTW, I've always thought every carrier plane from that era should have adopted that wing fold.  So clean.

Thanks,

John

Beautiful work on your 1/32 "Turkey"! Everything came out looking real sharp! The folded wings should help for display space purposes, besides adding lots of visual interest. Bravo! Toast
