So, here was my 1st attempt at an aircraft in many years. It's Hasegawa's 1:32 scale offering. I know there is a laundry list of things that either didn't go right, or I just plain out didn't do right. I had a heck of a time with the nose/cowling join to the fuselage where Hasegawa decided it was a good idea to have 5 parts all come together. I can see that I forgot to finish trying to fix that... I painted it primarily with MRP, including the markings minus the stencils. I had originall ordered the Eagle Editions decals, but the registration was so poor that I decided to forge ahead in making my own masks. I also added Eduard PE flaps. As much of a pain as it was (for me) it was good soldering practice and is quite a nice upgrade over the kit in the end. I believe I added HGW harnesses. There is basically no weathering.
I'm always surprised I don't see more A8's with this paint scheme.
Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think - good or bad. I'm always up for improving.
