Hi all, any idea where I can find a decent display stand that kaes the aircraft appear to be in flight? I found a couple but they lookd nasty.

Don't rule out a simple block of wood and a piece of coat hanger.

I was just thinking the other day, this would be a great application for 3d printing. You could so easily customize the base with a info regarding the model too...
On the Bench: Too Much
Ive seen folks use clear acrylic rods to "float" the aircraft above whatever stand is used. Hobby Lobby or other craft stores sell wooden plaques of various sizes that can be a good base. You could attach HO scale or smaller vegetation to the base to make it look like scenery and offer some pretend height.
Airfix makes some nice little stands. You don't see peeps using them much but for what they are they would work fine for most builds. They come in all sizes too. Some are black and others are clear.
