I'd appreciate some recommendations for this bird please. Would prefer 1/48 scale but might consider smaller.

The Monogram kit is real nice ,fit was quite good!I have heard that the ICM kit has more detail but they are trickier to build.

I built the Monogram kit back in the 90's. It was great. Have a couple in the stash now

Monogram, whether in the original boxing, or under the Revell or ProModeler boxings.

Perhaps a little off topic, but I have a Roden 1/72 Lufthansa 111 in my stash, with the airliner nose. Looks like a nice model.

Only 111 I've ever built was the 1/72nd Matchbox kit back in the late '80s. It was okay I suppose- I've built worse but I've built a heck of a lot better too.
