Your Jug in any scale is excellent, in 1/72 it's outstanding. A very clean build, so nicely built and finished, I really enjoyed seeing it. Thanks for the post and photos.

That looks pretty nice. I would not have imagined you had any issues with this one. Very clean Jug.

Troubles aside, it turned out real purty.  That's a nice clean build, which goes to show you don't have to barbecue a model with weathering products.

Good on ya for rolling one out just before the year's end!

Hasegawa 1/72 P-47D -- My last completion for 2022

Hey Gents,  I Just finished this 1/72 Hasegawa P-47D. It had been sitting around in an  almost complete state for several months. I stopped working on it when I selected and disected the wrong sized natioanl insignia for the starboard fuselage, not once, not twice, but three times!   So after about 3 months recovering from the mental trauma this caused, I gave it another go and managed to finish up the kit.

This kit looks nice when done and I am happy with the result; but I don't think I'll ever build another one when I have the option to build a Tamiya P-47 for about the same price. The fit was ok, but the spartan cockpit and wheel well detail, combined with numerous sink marks that I had to deal with on external surfaces, has soured me on this particula kit. Oh, and did I mention it comes with no centerline drop tank?Confused
