Well done, Eugene.  Not a slap together kit!

Nice work Eugene! Yes Yes Yes Those kits are known to be a little hard to work with.

On that same subject, sort of, about a few weeks ago I was looking thru the stash for something different to work on after I finish the one I'm on now. I found a couple of 1/72 Special Hobby kits and opened them up to check them out. One is a Lockheed 9 Orion and the other is a Junkers W34. Everything seems to be there and they look like a little work may solve any problems. But, there is a problem with one part in both the kits. The canopies in both kits are vacuum formed and severely yellowed. I tried the sun bleaching trick like with old decals. It sort of worked but not that great. I went on the internet and got basicly the same answer. The sunlight trick will sometimes work but the chemical makeup in them will let them revert back to yellowing.

Would you happen to know of anyone who makes replacement canopies for these 2 models. I've gone through my list of manufacturers and couldn't find one that makes them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stay Safe.

I don't know the kit came with a second canopy but it is even yellower!
