I'm a bit late, but I sure enjoyed seeing this one. The camo is really well done, surely believable as an operational aircraft. Was the resin spline a good fit? If I could find one of these kits, I'd like to give it a try myself. Thanks for the post and photos.

I've always liked that color scheme, and you're right, it came out great.  The model looks great, and I'm not tearing up from the nostalgia posts.

From the early 2000's, from Hasegawa,it came with a resin spine for the conversion.I really liked the way the camo came out,and the cool scorpion on the tail
