I was surfing youtube the other night, and found a video about
ed Packard, Cleveland Models, and all the things did for both models and full size aviation in the war years. Wow, was he a busy man. The video was by the author of a book, and the video pretty much follows the book, and is probably intended to.
but the book still sounded interesting, so I searched for it on Amazon. The book was copyright in 2005, and goes for $18. I have bought used copies of many aircraft books from Amazon and was always satisfied. They did have 14 used copies. Now although I have a prime membership, used books do not qualify for Prime shipping. Anyway, got the book with shipping for ten bucks. Those of you old timers, like me, who used to build flying models will love it. Must of the Cleveland kits were scale flyng models, although whe they branched off into control line they did make some non-scale stunt models. I see they still have used books available. Large size, quality printing.
