Future Floor Wax

Thanks very much. I have given each of your suggestions a try and quite frankly, found a little bit of thinner (either water or alcohol) works ok. And you're right, too much thinner can be a disaster.

I used alcohol 1:4 and reduced a bit the preasure and works well ,the only trouble is to know when to stop because the drops or have on hand a tisue to gently absorb the exedent ( Coffe Filter works well)....another be prepared with a solution of Amonia or Windex for clean the airbrush inmediately, a single action airbrush works better!...Another is very important to spent time between the hands of future at less 8 hours, aparently it cures rapidly but if you don't spent this time can apears receses like craks in the surface and another session of sanding will be expecting You!

I find that the best(and cheapest!) way to thin acrylics(including Future) is plain ole' tap water. Distilled water would probably have the same effect. Acrylics are "waterbased" and "water washup", so I geuss it makes sense to just use water!(MUCH cheaper than buying special made thinners!)

Try one part Tamiya acrylic thinner to 4 parts Future. It is an acrylic and not an actual wax, so it will react well with the Tamiya thinner. Generally, I use the Future with no thinner at all. If you are using an airbrush, try spraying at a slightly higher psi. This might help. If not, try the thinner, but go easy on it.
