Yes - a good site, and just in case there are anymore Halifax fans out there there is also 57rescue.org which has a forum and the Halifax Appreciation Society page, along with http:/takeoff.tohalifax which has a notice board - particularly useful in finding out about lost aircraft and crews etc. Anyone particularly interested in Halifax's out there incidentally?

And to take it even one step further Wink [;)]- there seems to be an imminent 1/48 scale release by Fonderie Miniatures according to GreatModels....

For Halifax buffs everywhere, check out www.rcafmuseum.on.ca

These guys are in the final assembly stages of their Halifax, which was raised some years ago from Lake Mjosa in Norway.

I just returned from visiting them, and their work is absolutely outstanding. They also have a memorial airpark, and have just acquired a CC 106 Yukon. This latter is down in Ecuador and they are presently pondering on how to get it home.

The museum is presently fundraising for a suitable hangar and display area to feature the Halifax. They are about half way to the $C 5M needed, with construction about to start.

Regards,
Bruce
