Just wondering if anyone has ever mixed these two. I did and looks to make a very conviencing color for hydralic fuild stains. Anyone tried this?

Sounds like a good idea. What ratio did you mix them to? I have mixed them for use on formula 1 car models but didn't think of using them for hydraulic fluid leaks on aircraft. I'll give it a go one day.

I'm not sure really. I guess maybe 75% smoke to 25% Orange? I just kinda found it by accident and thought maybe I'd ask.

TMMI editor Marcus Nicholls uses a mixture of Tamiya flat black,
clear red and clear yellow for post shading and weathering.
I have tried this myself and it looks good.

Depending on what you are going to do with the hydraulic fluid mixture, or to be more specific how big an area you intend to cover, you might play around with food coloring in Future. I don't know how well it would work for very large areas, but I've used it for colored nav lights before and it works great.
