F/A-18E Super Hornet w/ bombs
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, April 7, 2003 11:21 AM
Anyone have a pic of a Super Hornet holding bombs on the outermost underwing hardpoints? I want to have bombs on my Revell-AG F/A-18E Super Hornet, rather than the AGM-88 HARMs that came w/ the kit! Also, I'm having a hard time figuring out where to put the Sparrow missile on the starboard(right) fuselage hardpoint, due to the lack of attachment points. Where do I stick the damn thing?

Najaco has an impressive aviation photo gallery at:

They might have something. Or try:

Try borrowing the ITALIERI F/A-18E kit manual or instructions for the layout of the hardpoints. As for the bombs, I can't help with that been suffering the same agony of changing weapons loadouts for every kits I built for the 2 years. But studying most weapons loadouts, heavy bombs & drop tanks occupy the inner pylons/hardpoints. The outer most pylons usually carry missiles such as winders, AMRAAMS, sparrows (for vietnam age AC's).

Hope this might have helped you even a little bit. Good Luck!
