Do you have to clean resin or metal parts before using them?

One more tip, use clear epoxy for clear parts. Superglue (CA) will craze them.

Nothing new to add here except don't glue yourself to the kit by mistake :)

Hy.
Super Glue will work with both. Be careful and work slowly, resin parts break easily.
If you have to sand resin parts, wear a dust mask to prevent breathing toxic particles.

The above is true but consider using an accelerator for PE parts. I use the thicker CA glue and position my part. A squirt of accelerator and the job is done.

I prefer to use CA adhesive but epoxy can also be used.

CA glue works well for both of them. A little goes a long way
