How about this forum? There's about a bazillion years of modelling experience
here. I've never done it myself but I suspect you'd use RTV to make the mold.
There are people here who have probably forgotten more about this than I'll ever know.

Yeah, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am probably going to have to mold and cast them. I've never done that before, though, so it will be a learning experience. Anyone know of a good how-to manual for the first-timers?

Try building one seat to the level of detail you want and make a mold from it.
Cast as many seats as you like out of resin. I have an ENTEX 1/100 scale
Boeing 747 kit and, that's what I'm going to have to do if and when I build it.
BTW---This kit is a special edition and also contains a 1/100 DC-3/C-47.
Anyone got any idea if this kit is a collectable? It was given to me about
15 years ago.
TIA

Airliner seating

anybody know of a good aftermarket cource for airliner-type seating? I specifically am looking for seats in 1:48 scale, which is unfortunately not the standard scale for airliners. I am doing a kit-conversion and cannot bear the thought of having to scratchbuild a dozen seats.

Danke,

Liam
