I used to build model airplanes when I was a little kid, but I never bothered to make them look any good. Now that I'm back into the hobby, I've been practicing with painting. I've found that, if you paint the canopy black so you can't see the empty interior of the Testors 1/72 SNJ, it looks alright. I've been buying some of these, they're cheap and easy to build, and there are so many paint schemes that look good on a Texan.
Anyway, I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions about paint schemes for my Texans.
It came to me this morning that I aught to paint one like a Zero, and use decals from my spares box. We've all seen Texans made up to look like Zeros in the movies, so what the heck. :)
