Heller C-130 Ice Patrol

Anyone out there build Heller's version of the Hercules used by the American Coast Guard for ice patrol? Heller is a new line to me and I was wondering what your thoughts are on the kit before I purchase. Thanks!

I personally think its a fairly good kit for the cost, and with a few modifications and some time you can get great results. I actually bought 4 so far and have done each one from a differnt time period with the USCG. PLease let me know how you make out with yours.

Ahhh the Herc!
I love those airplanes.
Got me home from Halifax Nova Scotia after having sailed through the Northwest passage on the back of an Ice Breaker.
Flew top for us on many a Bering Sea flight too!
If only it was rotary wing, it would be perfect.
( I might consider a 1/48 scale kit though)
Don
I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

The Heller kit is a rebox of the Italeri kit so no worries there.
it looks very tasty when completed
