One more thing, about priming, I don't, although I have read of people that do. If you wash the whole assembly once assembled, but before painting, this will remove you finger prints and any residue from the fumes released by Super glue. You should find that paints will adhere with no problems without the need for priming.

Wash the brass in Rubbing Acohol first, this will remove any traces of chemicals left over from the etching process. There are various way to cut the peices out, but I try and cut them out with a razor blade, while holding the part flat against a piece of glass. This stops them distorting. Super glue is the best glue to use. Apply a small drop to the place you watn the part to go, rather than the part. Putting glue on the part usually ends up with the it stuck to the tweezers rather than your model.

Hope this is of help.

Been modeling for a long time now, but just started getting into the etched details kits. What are the dos & don'ts with details. Are they to be primed before painting? Superglue or epoxy them to the plastic?
