Among my many Hornets, I have one Testors one. I'm currently working on it. I got mine mainly to use the FLIR and LTD/CAM pods and adapter fairings for a Revell/Monogram project. Eventually, some of her major parts including vertical fins and cockpit went to an AMT Hornet. I have enough spares to build a nice model out of the Testors. Were it not for all the replacement parts for it, I probably wouldn't be doing it. It lacks some of the finer details that the Monogram kit includes, and it does have rather soft recessed panel lines. On the plus side though it does have parts for either a one seater or two, and the decals are pretty good. The bottom line: for a fun, easy, and in the end attractive build, go for it- For accuracy and detail go for Monogram or Hasegawa.
