Multiple Ejection Racks
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, May 4, 2003 5:37 PM
I'm trying to locate some high-grade MER's in 1/32 and 1/48. I have TER's from CAM, but really want to load out a couple of A-4's with the typical load we carried for CAS in Viet Nam. That was usually either snakes and nape, or MK-4 gun pods and rockets.

Does anyone have a line on these devils, or have some they want to part with. I'll pay dearly. Big Smile [:D]

Thanks,

Pish

Check with TAC Scale Dynamics. They make resin bombs and MER's in 1/32 scale. They also make a beautiful SUU-23 Gun Pod in 1/32.

You can contact them at,

The Hasegawa 1/32 A4 comes with a MER. It's a bit basic, but with a little detailing would be pretty good.

Thanks all. I checked with Brookhurst Hobbies and they have the CAM MER's...pretty good product. And, they ought to marry up with the Mk 82 snakes that they produce, which are beauties. Now for a 1/48 scale rendition of the same thing.

Next question, anyone have pictures or info on the Hughes Mk 4 gunpod? That was a frequent ordinance load for Marine Skyhawks during the thing in Viet Nam...at least while they were flying out of MAG-12 in Chu Lai, and especially on the A-4C's.

Even better than pictures is info as to where they're available. I know the Hasegawa Weapons Set C, in 1/48 has some, but I'd like to see a nice super detailed resin set. Is there any such animal?

Thanks,
Pish
