EB-1 Megafortress... need advice
Posted by armorman on Monday, May 5, 2003 11:22 AM
While working on a Revell/Monogram F-15E I picked up one of Dale Brown's latest and have decided to build the EB-1 featured in the book. Only thing is... the website, www.megafortress.com has no pics of it. Anyone have any ideas? I figure a 1/72 B-1 kit. Thanks yall.

Have you tried writing to Dale Brown? The only art work I ever saw was just the cover art, which ain't much! Good luck. I'd like to see the pix when done.

Hey mostlyjets, not a bad idea... I'll try that. My local hobby guy couldn't or hasn't yet found a 1/72 B-1 but he has found a 1/48 Monogram kit I may tackle. I'll write Dale Brown and see what I can dig up. Thanks!

I haven't read the Flight of the Old Dog in quite a while, but I'm pretty sure the Megafortress is a converted B-52. Cold be wrong though.

It is a converted B-52. As far as I can remember it has a kind of a V-tail and a pointed nose. I can look at home as far as I know i still have that book at home.
