I worked with the Blues in Seattle a few years I may have some stuff really up close. The paint is available from Testors MM as actual Blue Angel Blue and Blue Angel Yellow. Both are available in enamel and acrylic.

I too am building a BA f-18. I'm doing the Has. kit, 1/72. I'm also going to paint a Gundam robot to match...should be fun!

I've also emailed a couple of you to ask for some of those pics...any help is much appreciated!

As readers of this Forum are tired of hearing me tell, I rode with the Blues during the 1988 season, and I've ever since wanted to model the No. 7 bird I was in. Well, CAM came to my rescue with decals for No. 7, the first ever made as far as I know. However, now I can't find the kit. Got a lovely Black Box F/A-18B cockpit, but no kit. I don't have 54 bucks to spend on Haserobber's "Special Edition" vesion of the B model, which consists of adding NASA decals to the old kit. Or the other special edition, which adds Pax River test decals to the basic kit. I just want the nice old Hasegawa release in 1/48. Every day, I think I would be willing to give up one more new Eduard fret for this kit, but no one has it one the shelf anyway, and I guess that's why it's not in print -- not many people bought it.
