I have a page with some info as well...

http://www.naplak.com/modeling/tips/color_guide.htm

It shows several different brands of paints, and some mixing inof for Tamiya paints.
www.naplak.com/modeling ... a free site for modelers www.scalehobby.com/forum/index.php ... a nice Modeling Forum

The IPMS Color Cross-Reference Guide lists extra dark sea grey as FS36118 with the comment "exact match". This is a very dark bluish gray, very similar to the Luftwaffe interior black-gray (schwarzgrau), but slightly lighter.

Don't forget to lighten slightly for scale. Good luck.

As far as I can tell, the colour should be; Extra dark sea grey. The same shade as Xtracolor X5 or humbrol No 27. It's a dark blue/grey colour, if that helps.
The underside would probably be RAF sky. (Xtracolor X7/Humbrol No 90)
If you cannot get hold of paint charts for those makers, do you have any old model magazines where models may have been built in those colours?, that may give you an idea of how to procede.
The paint on a WW2 aircraft would probably fade anyway, so a shade or two out may not matter too much.

I'm going to build a british beaufighter Mk.X and the overall color is British Gray (ASM25) What is it? I cannot find any reference about it.....

I use tamiya enamels, and mix them to obtain the hues I need..... but the plane instructions say nothing about how to obtain this color (it is also tamiya, by the way....)

thanks in advanced for the help....
