Future over Testors Chrome spray paint
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 7:24 AM
I recently completed a P-51D Mustang and used Testors Chrome Spray paint on most of the plane. I was going to finish it with Testors Gloss Coat, but I noticed in the past the Glosscoat sometimes dulls the chrome finish. Should I brush on Future instead. Would that help. I don't have an airbrush. Will the brush leave streaks or should I just use a sponge type brush.

Many thanks to all & happy modeling

Paul, I've never tried it and recommend you "test" it on a scrapped model first. Also the the chrome silver takes forever to dry and picks up fingerprints bettern than the FBI! Good luck!
