I actually have a small pic from GE's website that shows the entire BF34 from the A-10. Drop me a line, and I'd be happy to send you a copy. (Can't get the pic post to work)

You'll also want to bear in mind that the caps in the midle of the turbine faces are the same as the main fuselage colour, not titanium like the blades themselves.

Thanks for the input and websites. Off to the hobby shop for "Titanium" in the morning.

Not gunmetal, it doesn't even adequately represent gunmetal!Disapprove [V]

The blades are aTitanium alloy and should have sort a dark bronze color (sorry, it's kind of hard to describe).Smile [:)]

one of my favorite places-FAS(www.fas.org/man) has an A-10 page.

A-10 Warthog turbine color.

Hi,

I'm new at scale modeling and received a 1/48th scale Monogram A-10 Warthog kit as a gift from my wife. Being only my third model aircraft built so far, and new at modeling, I'm having trouble with the correct color of the turbine fans. The vague instruction sheet shows "gunmetal gray". Is that correct? I tried the color but it doesn't seem too realistic.

Any A-10 fanatics out there who may be of assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
