djmodels 1999: thanks for the compliment.

if it is the same one, 1/32 Hasegawa 60's kit, i think you will be pleased. the first thing i noticed when i opened the box was the plastic. the plastic is a very shiny gray, not like today's kits. the instructions are simple, but laid out very well i just followed along and had no trouble at all. i would suggest that , if you are going to rig yours, when attaching rigging, to do so before you get fuselage put together. i did this with the fuselage halves and used short pieces of 1/16 brass tube with the rigging tied off and superglued (to prevent possibly pulling string out of holes). the rest of the kit is fairly straight forward and if you have better than basic modelling skills, which i am sure you do, you should have no troubleBig Smile [:D].

Looking good so far. It's an old kit but a very nice one.

Regards, Rick

Thanks a lot! Great info there! My kit's engine is slightly 'off register' and the halves of the engine feature a definite 'step' which is a shame really...
