Pinup nose art, can anyone help?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, June 19, 2003 4:32 PM
Hi everyone-
I'm new to the mesage boards, but I've seen what a great resourse it can be so I'm hoping I can solicit some help.

I am planning on building a b-24 for my Pop-pop (grandpa) who was a bombadier in WWII. He flew in the 13th Air Force, 5th Bomber Group, 394th Squadron. I believe the name of his bird was "Two Time" but I still need to confirm that.
I've found quite a bit of information on his squad, and even have a picture or two of his plane (though nearly 60 years haven't been too kind to them) My problem is going to be finding some nose art decals that resemble the lovely lady that was on his plane.
Does anyone know of a retailer that has pin-up decals?
Oh, I suppose it would help you to know that I plan on building this in 1/72 scale.

If you're interested, you can see what i believe to be the nose art of his bird at
The name once again was "Two Time"

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Try Mike Grant Decals. His website is:

He can create decals from photographs or your art work.

He did a fantastic job on the decals for my uncle's B-24, "The Chambermaid". He recreated the nose art, mission tally, serial number and sqaudron markings.

Also, see the P-38 decal post on this forum.
