Moonwoka,

Go for it. Many, if not most, of the new Revellogram kits in the USA are actually from Hasegawa molds. (and in some cases, Dragon)

Revell GmbH also has also marketed several Hasegawa kits, this being one of the many. Just do it, you won't be disappointed!

The Revell Val is simply a re-box of the Hasegawa kit like the 1/48 F4U-5N and 1/32 Me-109G. Although I haven't built one personally, my Dad got one right after it came out. It is a pretty nice kit and worth the build.

It is pretty tough to get any kit you want around here. High quality kits from Hasegawa, Tamiya etc. either are impossible to get, or cost quit beyound my budget. I have questions for those, who have built this particular kit, or at leaest seen it (not only the artwork Big Smile [:D] ). Waht I would like to know, is - measurements, detail, fit, is it a gem or a trash etc etc. Ok, I want to know as much as possible - I was unable to find full build reviews on the net.

Many thanks in advance.
