Can anyone tell me why trumpeter kits are so expensive?
Especialy in 1/48 scale.

Comparing to Tamiya, Hasegawa and a few others, I'd think that at similar scales, Trumpeter's kits are cheaper... Of course, they tend to do lots of BIG models that are rather, and quite understandably, expensive...

Yeah, for their size and amount of material in the box, Trumpeter kits are still, on the whole, less expensive than their counterparts. Some of them are downright cheap, though! Tongue [:P]Wink [;)]
