Ahhh, yay,

(if the links don't work, email me if you want them)

I just had a look on internet hobbies. Nothing came up, so if there is a kit, it might be an out of production one.

Well, you are right about the conversion tho. It is done by Red Roo Models and is in 1/48 scale.

http://204.50.25.179/features00/avonsabrepm_1.htm - this is a website that shows how one modeler did it, it might be of some use to you.

Also the Red Roo Modeling companies web site is http://www.redroomodels.com/ - i believe they send overseas if your keen on getting the conversion.

Does anybody know of any kits out there in 1/48 or 1/32 of a Commonwealth MK.32 Sabre?

I know a few years ago a group down in Australia released conversion kits in 1/72 and 1/48, but I was hoping for a full plastic kit rather than conversion sets if it could be done.

The Mk.32 has to be my favorite members of the Sabre family. the 30mm cannons were certainly more worthy of a postwar jet than the .50 calibre guns the Sabre family started out with. The Rolls Royce engine must have been a real kick in the pants compared to Sabres of other engines.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction here.
