Put a little light on the subject.

I have an old Nichimo 1/20 scale Cessna 172. I would like to add nav's, beacon and a landing light, but have not been able to find a source for miniature bulbs and wiring. If anyone has the name/e-mail of such a company please post info. Also, if you have experience with lighting, I would appreciate some tips. Thanks, Lenny.

good luck with this, i think its a really nice idea - i've always wondered if anyone ever fitted the ' 60 feet ' lights to a Lancaster
Dambuster or whether Tamiya had any allowance for any on their 1:48 kit - these seem to get forgotten in any form, at 1:72 at least............

Replacement bulbs for the Mini Mag flash lights look like good candidates for landing light bulbs in 1/48 and 1/32 aircraft. I used some "grain of wheat" bulbs in a B-25 years ago and they still work. I also have a B-26 Marauder with working landing lights and spinning props. I have an A-26 in the "hanger" wired for the same things.

Clear Left!

In the past I have used RAM LED's for my nav lights on a 1/144 C-5B. They were incredibly helpful.
Good luck on the Cessna Lenny
