A friend of mine bought the belle not so long age.
He wasn't impressed with it , but hadn't built any other 17's.
Compared to the Airfix and hasegawa offerings it is streets ahead.
I have completed all the major sub assemblies of Bocks Car, their B29 but
have yet to muster the bravery to spray the alclad finish.
The detail is fantastic for a 1/72 scale bomber (I have binned the Airfix kit)
But the nicest 72nd bomber has to be the new release Revell Germany
HE177 Griffon.
If they can keep up the good work they will put every one else to shame!

Erock68,

I have built the kit, and I must say that I was impressed with the amount of detail included in the kit. Granted, the cockpit and navigator's / bombadier's bay was a bit sparse, but all in all, a very good kit. I can highly recommend it.

For those of you who have built this kit, any thoughts? It's the Memphis Belle version in 1/72.
