Pictures of Ike's Mustang "The Stars look Down"?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, June 30, 2003 1:16 PM
I recently built and coverted Tamiya's P-51B Mustang to represent the plane that flew Eiesenhower over Normandy so he can see first hand the ensuing battle. I was inspired by FSM 1998 article on the subject. By any chance, does anyone have a real picture of the Mustang?

F.S.M. July '98 is the first, last and only pics I've ever seen of that particular aircraft. You may entertain the thought of books on the operation and hope you get lucky. Good Luck.
